Sonelle Buys completed her B Comm in Industrial Psychology at the University of Johannesburg before spending time abroad to gain work experience in the UK where she gained significant insights into the customer service and travel industry. On her return to South Africa she joined the Banking Industry where she was introduced to the Contact Centre industry and from there her initial involvement in business excellence. She used the experience gained in the Captive sector to embark on a journey in the Business Process Outsourcing sector. Here Sonelle made use of opportunities to further expand her knowledge and experience and she found herself drawn toward the regulatory and all associated aspects the sector had to offer. Sonelle completed her Regulatory Exams (RE5 and RE1) and the Class of Business training in Short term Personal, Short term Commercial and Long term categories and was approved as Key Individual for a Category 1 FSP. Sonelle completed an ISO27001 internal auditor course.
